Ingredients⌗
- 4-8 tbsp. Butter
- 8 cups fruit of choice (About 5 lbs.)
- 2 cups flour
- 1.75 cup milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 tsp. baking powder
Optional⌗
- Ice cream for topping
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon if using apple or similiar fruit that makes sense. And additional for topping.
- Some lemon juice to help stop oxidization of the fruit if needed (apple)
Cooking Instructions⌗
- Put the butter in a baking pan (9"x13") and place it in the oven while it preheats to 325 F.
- Mix fruit, brown sugar, and optional cinnamon. If needed, lemon.
- Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, milk, vanilla, and stir until smooth.
- Once oven is heated, remove pan. Pour the mixed batter directly onto the butter/bottom of the pan.
- Dump in your fruit filling directly onto the batter, no need to mix together. You can now add some additional cinammon to your preference over top.
- Bake 40-50 minutes. OR until the edges are slightly browned and filling is bubbling.
- Allow to cool slightly, then cut and scoop to serve. Top with optional ice cream.
