Ingredients⌗
- 2 lb. Potatoes (About 8 medium potatoes)
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. paprika
- 1 tbsp. pepper
- 1 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. onion powder
- 1/2 cup flour
- High smoke temperature oil (peanut, canola, sunflower, etc.) for frying
Optional⌗
- Other seasonings
- Bacon
- Cheese
Cooking Instructions⌗
- Wash potatoes, peel if desired.
- Slice potatoes into your desired fry shape
- In a pot, bring water to a boil. Place potatoes in the boiling water
- Remove, and place into a bowl of ice water
- Once cooled down, remove from the ice water and pat dry with paper towel
- Gently toss in flour and lightly coat fries
- Heat up oil to a temperature of 375 F.
- Place fries into the oil, and fry until golden brown (about 7 minutes)
- Remove from oil, and place on paper towel to dry.
- Place fries into a bowl, and toss with salt, paprika, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and other desired seasonings.
- If adding bacon and cheese, place under broiler for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
- Prep time: 15 minutes
- Cooking time: 25 minutes.
